The Power of the Holy Spirit Church is located in the older part of Chichicastenango–an area of town known for it’s cantinas. While this church is located in a part of town where those who drank too much at the cantina can be found passed out along the sidewalk, this church has a vision to show Christ to even the youngest ones who live nearby.
Recently, leaders from the Power of the Holy Spirit Church asked us to do a workshop for their kids ministry team. With interactive games, practical lessons about vision, creativity and discipleship, Michael led a nearly four-hour workshop. The teachers are excited about ministering to the kids and for the Adventures in the Bible resources we shared with them.
Please pray for this church and the leaders who have a heart to reach out to those around them.
The workshops we do for kids ministry teams are free of charge and help encourage these dedicated ministers to pour into the next generation and disciple them to become the next leaders of the church.
