A team from Radiant Church in Richland, MI, came to help us train leaders, share Christ with kids at a local elementary school and church and get some painting done too!
The team activities included:
- Leading three church services for children.
- Visting local families in their homes and praying for them.
- Painting and making our new ministry center look amazing!
- Teaching a series of workshops for Children’s Ministry leaders
- Leading a local kids ministry outreach
- Sharing at a local English school
- Encouraging and spending time with our family
Seeing our own children interact with this team was a joy to us as they helped translate, played and enjoyed getting to know the different personalities of the team members. The teams great attitudes, service, love for the people and care for us was a blessing and encouragement!
We enjoyed having the team with us and shortly after we dropped the team off at the airport, 7-year-old Haim had a sad tone to his voice as he told me, “I miss the team.”
