Teaching the Old Testament

Training new leaders for Guatemalan churches is important for the future of this country and for leaders we hope will go to the nations as pastors, missionaries and leaders.

Michael just finished 12 weeks of teaching an Old Testament survey class for 15 students in the undergraduate level classes at the Guatemalan Bible institute of ASELSI.

These students study for two years to receive their diploma and all the knowledge and understanding they can gain from a variety of courses.

In Michael’s class the students studied themes from across the Old Testament and wrote an investigation into their choice of a Biblical character or topic that caught their attention. Students studied Samson, Jonah, Sanctity and more.

Please pray for these students who have a desire to know and understand God’s Word as they continue their studies that will run through October.

This week, Michael begins a class with the secondary level students focused on the book of Acts.
