Learning with others and from others

When we found out about a seminar for children’s ministry here in Guatemala, we are excited to see that other ministries are training up children’s ministry leaders too!

Michael took four children’s ministry volunteers from a church here in Chichicastenango to learn at  the 4-day seminar. The seminar was about held about 2 hours away from us by missionaries Elton & Gail Wells. They both have many years of experience in children’s ministries in the U.S. and now they are helping more Guatemalan churches learn how to minister to the next generation. We applaud their hearts to train up leaders in churches and ministries here.

Besides the fun training this seminar provided new ideas to refine our own training workshops and a great opportunity to share about our Adventure in the Bible resources with other ministries. We distributed about 144 of our Adventures books for kids and made some new contacts.

We are glad to connect with the Wells and others as we continue reaching out to help train and equip leaders who are discipling the new generation.
