Our Wednesday afternoon DiscipleTec classes cover two areas: 1) Discipleship as we read God’s Word and share together and 2) then a fun project. Recently we’ve been looking at what it means to be a disciple and the cost of being a disciple in Luke 14.
For projects, we made a scale model (approx. 1:170) of Noah’s Ark (see above), made a remote control tank from a kit, and we are now building a go-cart for the kids to be able to have fun driving around the ministry site. These projects give us opportunities to get to know these students and to develop their skills in things like teamwork, using tools, creativity, engineering, science, problem solving, etc.
