Building a place to grow (Little by little)

The process of moving over to the new ministry site has been slow going, but, as they say in Guatemala, “poco a poco,” or “little by little”, we’ll get there.

For the kids ministry areas, the swing set and playground fort are already moved and installed on the new site, and kids from the nearby elementary school have enjoyed climbing all over the fort with its slide and climbing wall.

We have completed sewer drainage work, major parts of construction on the classroom and distribution center.

On the classroom and distribution center, we have most of the flooring installed, but we’re working on things like bathroom fixtures, doors, painting and windows.

On the small house we plan to move into there are some wall and roof repairs, plumbing work, and painting that need to be done before we can move in. We’re trying to get as much of these things done before the end of May since that’s when the rainy season begins.
