Chichicastenango, Guatemala — Twice a day hundreds of uniformed students flood in and out of the INEEB/INEB middle school where two groups of students study — one in the morning and another group in the afternoon.
Even though they are in middle school, these students are on their way to choosing their careers. Along with the opportunities to study here in the highlands of Guatemala, come the stresses of school, peers and the challenges of life.
When we received an invitation to speak at the morning class, we were glad to get to go and encourage the hundreds of studenst during an end-of-the-year assembly.
Michael spoke about the 12 spies who explored the land of Canaan and how two had faith and saw opportunities while the other ten were filled with fear. Chrisi shared the Gospel and many of the students responded that they wanted the Salvation offered by Christ!
We love that God continues opening doors to reach out to those around us with the Gospel. Please pray with us for these students to have God’s perspective as they step forward in their lives, studies and opportunities.
